Please note that works will commence on Monday 5^th December to carry out trial holes and ground investigation works in order to inform the detailed design of the new road at Grizebeck.

The first phase will be completed prior to Christmas with a second phase lasting approximately 2 weeks commencing mid to late January subject to Environment Agency approvals being granted as these works will be near to watercourses.

The trial pits and cores in the road will require temporary traffic lights to enable them to be carried out safely so unfortunately some short delays to traffic will be inevitable.

We apologise for any disruption whilst these essential investigations are carried out.
