DONKEY ROCKS VOLUNTEER DAY

Members of Cumbria GeoConservation have recently visited the wonderful Donkey Rock Geological Area to review its condition.

It is a bit overgrown and could do with some clearance of trees near the rock face, with the ivy removed, together with removal of nettles, brambles and briars.

We have therefore decided to have a volunteer day to help tidy the area up.

If you are willing to volunteer, please meet at the site on at 10.00am on 22nd February 2025.

Please bring your own tools such as Loppers, saws perhaps, secateurs. Simple gardening tools will do. We also recommend that you wear gloves (not provided).

Cumbria GeoConservation members will also be there to assist.

We look forward to seeing you on the day.

A very big thank you in advance.
