A temporary30mph speed limit was put in place to allow Westmorland and Furness Highways to carry out bridge repair works which were expected to commence 18th September 2023 and anticipated to take 2 days to complete.

Unfortunately these works did not go ahead as planned and are now expected to commence 26th September 2023, for approx. 2 days.
