Duddon Parish Council - Road Safety Working Group 

With the new Westmorland and Furness unitary authority commencing on 1st April 2023, the Road Safety Working Group has been meeting to discuss options for traffic calming. They have presented some ideas for consideration. In the spirit of transparency, at this stage, these are merely suggestions (see additional documents) and will not be presented to any authority without community consultation. We would appreciate comment and feedback, positive and negative, so we can formulate effective, cost-effective and community-approved traffic calming measures within the Parish for submission to the Parish Council for approval and then the relevant authorities for consideration.
