An urgent temporary road closure has been put in place to allow Cumbria Highways to carry out urgent repair works to the cattle grid.

This notice will be in force for a period not exceeding 5 days from 27th February 2023. It is expected that the Works will take 4 days.

Location: asection of C5008 Kiln Bank Cattle grid, extending in a south westerly direction for a total distance of approximately 20m.

Alternative Route:via the unrestricted sections of C5008, A593, A595 Broughton in Furness, C5007, & C4028.

A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
