A temporary road closure has been put in place to allow BT Openreach to carry out utility works which are expected to commence 9th July 2024 and anticipated to take 2 days to complete.

Location: A595 Foxfield Road, Broughton-in-Furness, from a point approx. 210m south east of its junction with Broughton Park, extending in an overall southerly direction for approx. 165m.
Alternative Route: A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times and a suitable alternative route for vehicles will be signed and available via the unrestricted sections of Foxfield Road, Kepplewray Hill and A595.
Access for Emergency Vehicles will be maintained where required for the duration of these works.
