Road Closure -Kepplewray Hill

A temporary road closure has been put in place to allow Westmorland and Furness Highways to carry out highway works which are expected to commence 26th June 2024 and anticipated to take 3 days to complete.

Location: Kepplewray Hill, Broughton-In-Furness, from its junction with High Kepplewray, extending in a north westerly direction for approx. 60 m.

A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.

Alternative route for north west bound vehicles: via the unrestricted sections of Kepplewray Hill (C5009), A595, Church Street, Griffin Street and Market Street.

Alternative route for south east bound vehicles: via the unrestricted sections of Kepplewray Hill (C5009), Market Street, Station Road, Prince’s Street, Griffin Street, Church Street and the A595.

Access for Emergency Vehicles will not be maintained for the duration of these works.
