Duddon Parish Council would like to make a correction to the information published in the April edition of the Parish Pump

regarding the local election process.

"We must feel proud of our parish because we are one of the few where such is the interest that are elections are now held!"

is incorrect. Local elections occur every 4 years and every single parish council, without exception is subject to an election process.
